The Up and Under Foundation charity was founded in 2008 by the directors of the Up and Under Group. In brief, its objectives are to provide financial assistance to youngsters in the South Cheshire area to allow them to have beneficial experience which they might otherwise miss out on due to lack of funds. They are particularly interested in areas involving adventure, physical activity and music performance.
Recently, the managing director of the Up and Under Group, Andy Fewtrell rowed a marathon distance (on a rowing machine) at the same time that Lorna, his wife, ran a marathon and following completion of their respective challenges they thanked Banks Sheridan for their £200 donation to the Foundation.
Andy and Lorna are no couch potatoes and undertake frequent daring and difficult challenges. Banks Sheridan will aim to continue to provide support and are certain that the Foundation would be pleased to accept any offers of help, or cash that assist the charities ability to help others.
