David Morris
FCCA/MAAT
Director
David’s working life has been spent within the accountancy profession in practice and so brings a wealth of experience in business and taxation matters and is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. David now provides tax and business advice to sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and LLP’s as well as personal and capital taxes advice to individuals. Away from the office David enjoys keeping fit by regularly attending the gym, but mainly loves spending time away with his family.
Darren Walley

Managing Director
Darren specialises in auditing and has extensive large company audit experience, including preparation of consolidated group accounts and dealing with companies with international connections. Darren has a busy family home life and when he manages to find some spare time to himself enjoys supporting his local football team.
Stuart Banks
BSc FCA
Director
Stuart specialises in providing business and tax advice to corporate clients and their owners. He acts as lead-advisor in corporate transactions such as acquisitions, mergers, management buy-outs and company disposals. Away from work, Stuart regularly plays golf and tennis but his number one sport is rugby, although these days he is a spectator rather than a player.
Paul Sammons

Director
Banks Sheridan merged with Paul’s accountancy and taxation practice Sammons & Co, in 2017. Paul has a wealth of experience in all aspects of accountancy and taxation and has amassed clients from not only South Cheshire and North Staffordshire, but all over the UK and various parts of the world. Life outside work for Paul consists of spending time with his wife, two daughters and ever-expanding menagerie of pets.
Emily Broomhall

Associate Director
Emily has been with Banks Sheridan since the company formed. Both AAT and FCCA qualified, she manages many of the audits, along with undertaking accounts and taxation work for a portfolio of clients operating within various industries. Outside of work, Emily enjoys following football, travelling and spending time with her family and friends.

Sian Knight

Associate Director – Practice Team Leader
Both AAT and CIMA qualified, Sian joined us in 2014 and has a wide range of experience in accountancy and management. Having carried out various roles within Banks Sheridan, Sian is now involved with the development of apprentices and use of cloud accounting within the practice. Outside of work, Sian has a busy family life and enjoys keeping fit and being outdoors whenever she can.
Jeff Cartwright
Accountant (Senior Manager)
Having worked in the accountancy profession for over 30 years, Jeff has considerable experience helping businesses and business owners. Jeff looks after limited companies, partnerships and sole traders offering tax and business advice, including personal and capital taxes. Away from work Jeff plays badminton, enjoys watching football and likes to travel.
Jasmin Griffiths
ACCA
Client Manager
Jasmin manages a portfolio of clients based in numerous industries of varying sizes and is involved with accountancy such as accounts production, corporation tax, submission of VAT returns and personal tax. Jasmin holds a black belt in Karate and at the weekends enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
Callum Parker
Accountant
Callum, one of our audit team members, is a higher-level apprentice currently working towards his ACCA qualification. In his spare time Callum enjoys playing football, watching sport, cooking and socialising with friends and family.
Georgia Hodges
Apprentice Accountant
Georgia joined us after deciding that a career in accountancy was for her and is currently working towards her AAT qualification. She uses cloud accounting software to prepare VAT returns and accounts and also assists in tax form preparation. In her spare time, Georgia likes to walk her three dogs and socialise with her friends and family.
Tina Fowles
Payroll Manager
Tina, who manages our efficient payroll department, joined us in 2019 and brought with her a wealth of payroll experience from diverse sectors, having spent over 10 years in the profession. Tina is busy outside of work, with a very active young daughter at home. When Tina is not spending time with her daughter and husband she likes to keep fit and socialise with friends.
Mark Oliver
Senior Payroll Administrator
Mark has many years of payroll experience working within payroll bureaus and is an integral part of our payroll department. Outside of work, Mark enjoys following Northampton Town FC and spending time with family and friends.
Jo Greenhill
Finance Manager
Jo is an experienced Management Accountant, having spent much of her career within the retail industry. Away from spreadsheets Jo enjoys reading, Scrabble and country walks with her family.

Ollie set up Banks Sheridan Wealth, the financial services business in August 2021, after being employed in financial services as an adviser for 20 years. Ollie loves the outdoors, spending most of his time with his dog, Stella, a spaniel, pursuing country sports. He loves running and going to the gym. Other than this he is running around after his 2 daughters!

John joined the business on a part time basis from the outset of the Financial Services Business after having taken early retirement from his role in Abrdn Financial Planning Limited. John has a wide range of interests from Rugby Refereeing, Running, Local History Research, Family History and Orchestral Music as a cellist. He is a regular volunteer at Congleton Museum.
Georgiana Bayley
Receptionist/Administrator
Being our receptionist, Georgiana is usually the first person you will see when visiting our modern offices. Georgiana started at Banks Sheridan as an Apprentice, but after passing her NVQ in customer service she now works on Reception and covers a myriad of admin responsibilities. In her spare time George likes dancing and cooking.
Josh Murphy
Apprentice Accountant
Josh joined us straight from A-levels with a career plan to become an accountant. He is currently working towards his AAT qualification and enjoying life as an apprentice accountant. In his role he uses cloud accounting software to prepare VAT returns and accounts and also assists in tax form preparation. Josh enjoys walking his dog, Paddy and likes to keep fit at the gym.
Phoebe Deller
Apprentice Accountant
Phoebe joined us after completing her A-levels and is now working towards her AAT qualification. She uses cloud accounting software to prepare VAT returns and accounts and also assists in tax form preparation. In Phoebe’s spare time she competes locally and nationally in British Dressage with her Irish Sports Horse Donni and enjoys to play the piano.
Aimee Bullock
Apprentice accountant
Aimee joined us straight from Sixth Form; it was there she decided that she wanted to pursue a career in accountancy. She assists the managers by preparing accounts and VAT returns using cloud accounting software and has enrolled on an AAT course. In her spare time, Aimee likes to socialise with her friends and family, trying different restaurants and going on nice walks.
Fifi McGee
Apprentice accountant
Fifi joined us after completing her GCSEs and is beginning her journey for her AAT qualification. She provides support to the client managers, mainly being involved in accounts preparation and VAT Return completion. Outside of work, Fifi enjoys crafting with her mum and long walks in the Peak District.
